Being With Pain

Illness. Pain. The mind wants solutions… suggesting… trying… what if this, what if that…. it wants to escape the body pain… now! It’s so persistent in its quest to stop this actual ‘what is’ state. Jibber-jabbering away wanting to be helpful. I’m sitting here watching it do its thing… creating fear, scary thought, anxiety stories, all kinds and varieties of stories. I used to resist the mind and the body and the stories, but that just kept me tethered even more. So, I watch it do its thing. Jibber-jabber… when will it?… what if?… stop me in my tracks writhe, grimace involuntarily; disapprove of it as I’m sending it love and approval; call out to Uriel, Lester, god god god, a friend… what a cacophonous symphony. Not a distraction. Not to be denied, ignored, or by-passed. But to have the courage to dive into the apparent chaos where peace, pain, noise, silence, whatever-ness, and all of it resides. This is the challenge of illness… and life.
Courage to be with all of it, and to let it be all of what it is. Until it isn’t.

Love is All – INclusive

BE AWARE that any reframing or reinterpretation of what is perceived as ‘negative’ or ‘unloving’ by the mind into anything other than what it is in the moment — including into a picture or language of positivity, is resistance. Resistance is in opposition to allowance of All — of the Allness. Allowance of All is Love. Needing or wanting to reframe or reinterpret anything in language or thought is simply another face of FEAR perspective where there can be no true all-encompassing consciousness of Love. Fear does not equal love, but paradoxically is encompassed within Love.

Loving it All and not wanting or having to reframe or reinterpret through ANY lens, including a lens of Love, is an awakened state of BEing, which paradoxically (not) INcludes another’s need or want to reinterpret anything.

Repression, resistance, denial of ANYthing you perceive is not a highly-evolved awakened end state. I see many people stopping there in a psuedo feel-good state because they have convinced themselves if it feels “good” it is the be all end all. But does it really feel “good”? The mind is very convincing, but if one is courageously and fearlesly honest with oneself and peels away layers to get to what is real and true in the moment, the stuff that is being resisted, denied and repressed is still right there and always will be. But you *can* get to a state where it doesn’t matter either way. Impeturbability. Supreme Peace.

Consciousness knows when you are lying to it or forcing something on it that is not AUTHENTIC. Do you want an Authentically True Peace? Resistance and reinterpretation is not the way, but like all things and states, it can be a step on the way. (There really is no hierarchical linear ‘stepping’ anyway… but this is the language we use to paint a picture).

It is currently trendy to talk about and “teach” the philosophy of “It’s all goodness and love and light the rest is illusion,” but there is something even more all-inclusive and wonderful beyond that intellectual understanding and linguistic/behavioral modification practice.

Stop trying to bullshit yourself and your mind. Bullshitting a bullshitter (the mind) is futile. And Consciousness is not stupid. Let go of judging anything as good/bad, right/wrong, dark/light, negative/positive. Go beyond your desiring, wanting, or needing to re-interpret anything you perceive. Allow it to Be as it shows up.

Ultimately, WE the One Consciousness and “Love” (but not the limited human concept and construct of what love is). We can call it Love, God, Dog, Lala Land, or any other manmade word. We are/It is all there is INcluding anything perceived as being ‘other than’ Itself. Soak that up. Revel in that.

Love includes all things your mind tells you it is not.

Reinterpreting is unecessary. This is what an Awakened Consciousness Revolution is about.

Hello Beautiful!

IMG_3692.JPG

Our beauty and brilliant beingness emanates from withIn. It just does. It just is.

That unnameable, unmistakeable energetic somethingness that EVERYone radiates inward/outward without even trying… without effort or external adornment.

There is no age barrier or expiration date to it. No tiny little box can hold it or limit its organic exquisiteness. No story teller can adequately define or describe it. No painter, camera, software, or plastic surgeon can capture or create it. It just is.

Do you see it? Feel it? Hear it in the silence? Close your eyes and listen…

Hello beautiful! 💜

The Petri Dish of Suffering

20140726-023745-9465101.jpg

“The most authentic thing about us is our capacity to create, to overcome, to endure, to transform, to love and to be greater than our suffering.”
~ Ben Okri

This life is full of tragedy and loss. Sometimes, it is challenging to wrap the mind around it, and painful to wrap the heart around it. What a trip… what a ride.

To ignore the sorrow or tragic aspects of the Whole, and attempt to “be” or see only the easy soft lovely ‘beautiful’ parts; to deny the juicy messy ‘ugly’ painful parts, is life only partially tasted, partially lived. It is unawakened or partially awakened believing it is fully awakened. When we transcend, even if only for a moment in time (literally) we then know it is all part of the deal. Not just some of it. ALL of it. It is then that the shadow, painful, tragic aspects, can also be seen as ‘beautiful’ if one chooses.

We are here right now in the midst of an earthly physical/mental firestorm day-to-day. How we think, act and react to whatever is, has been, or will be — including the tragedies, losses and suffering in our lives and the lives of our extended earthly family, is the material realm petri dish where TRUE heroes, TRUE sages, TRUE awakened and enlightened beings are born… again and again and again.

No human is excluded from this experiment, so let’s each, from wherever we are right now, consciously love one another in our individual and collective suffering. And let’s be courageous and embrace a little of the shadow aspects of our individual and collective humanity today — even if we weep until the sun rises tomorrow.

Goodness & Love Prevail

believe21

Every single moment, every single day, there is someone somewhere in the world doing something wonderful, something ‘right’,  something kind for someone else. Even though we may not see it and probably won’t hear about it, it IS happening right NOW.

Goodness and love prevail in quiet anonymity, changing our world for the better one thought, one act, one person at a time.

Congruency

Image

“Our true calling is the call to ultimate congruence within oneself.” ~ Caroline Myss

It could be said that the true spiritual path is the path within oneself of being or becoming a congruent human being. It is living in a state of inner-harmony, so that we do not live a life of ‘interior betrayal’. A congruent human being recognizes and listens to the still small voice within and follows its guidance, even if it is uncomfortable, scary, or unthinkable at first. It might be telling you to pick up the phone, apologize to someone, start walking or exercising, change career or diet, be more honest with yourself and others, help someone, forgive someone who mistreated or abused you, or whatever it is. Fear might come up. The ego might get noisy and argue with the still small voice and what it is telling you, that’s where courage comes in. It takes courage to be a congruent human being. When the still small voice offers us something that has the potential to bring us into alignment with our truth – the courage will be there. It will just naturally rise up to meet and support us.

When we are living congruently, we are “Being our very own beingness” as Lester Levenson said. It is recognized as a feeling of inner-peace, harmony, ‘rightness’, effortlessness, balance, imperturbability. Everything flows. We are not going against anything – not resisting anything, because we know what is profoundly ‘right’ for us. It is not a destination or set in stone – it is a fluid state. It is a place of synchronicity where ‘magic’ happens. The identity (in my case the ‘mu’) seems to disappear as BEingness takes over. As during a performance when the music just flows through the body – the instrument, as opposed to ‘mu’ thinking about it or trying to control it. It is effortless perfection. This is how it is in all areas of life when we are congruent beings.

When we are honest, true, and congruent, everything seems easier, more effortless; It flows, It is all perfection – literally ‘all good’, regardless of whatever is going on or happening externally. Congruency is a state of knowing and being who and what we really are.

We Are All One Soul Mate

flower_of_lifeThat rare moment when you realize you have found another living human being who seems to have had the exact same or very similar experiences, has come to the same or a very similar understanding, and has or is following the same path (spiritually, healing, or whatever it may be)… and it is just pure mind-blowing *synchronicity* at it’s best – down to minute details. PRICELESS!

I am in awe of how we can be lead (or lead ourselves) to others of like mind and consciousness in the most unexpected ways. It’s like “divine manifestation” out of, or within, seemingly random chaos. I’ve found the great stuff in life usually happens like that. Sometimes I’m just way more in-tune and aware of it when it does happen. (In the Flow).

And I think it’s happening more and more as the current paradigm and associated shifts are occurring. We are being faced with choices – some minor, some challenging, some life-changing; always and ultimately transformative choices. If we don’t choose, the choice will be made for us one way or another.

Sometimes, when I run across another human who seems tied to me soulfully, my (monkey) mind tries to “figure it out”. It starts asking, “What does this mean? For what purpose is this? What do I do or learn from this random (or not) mind-blowing encounter with this stranger or person?” My soul replies, “They are your reflection reflecting back your own journey. Keep on your path. Share it with others — without expectation or attachment. And don’t give up. Never give up.”

So, stay open and aware of  “soul mates” (we all are really) all around and found in the most seemingly curious and unexpected places. They/we have a story to tell. It’s the story of our own journey.

Have a synchrodipity day!
